Sudhanshu Bhatt is a Fellow at XLRI – Xavier School of Management, India, and serves as Director of University Relations at Sanjivani University. He is also an Affiliate Professor at MESOS Business School, France, and Director of Partnerships and Collaborations at the Transformative Transportation Services Design Initiative (TRATSEDI), UK. With more than fifteen years of academic and industry experience, he combines institution-building in higher education with active participation in international research networks.
His scholarship is anchored in studying human–technology interaction and its impact on dignity, ethics, and organizational life. Earlier projects examined how digital systems—from AI influencers in marketing to sustainable transport innovations and healthcare in virtual environments—reshape consumer behaviour, governance, and trust. This work has appeared in journals such as AIS Transactions on Human-Computer Interaction, the International Social Science Journal, and Discover Cities, as well as case studies published by the Case Centre (UK) and Ivey Publishing (Canada).
Building on this foundation, his current research turns to the deeper question of organizational purpose: how leaders make sense of purpose in times of uncertainty, and how authentic purpose can guide innovation, strengthen trust, and promote dignity and well-being. He is leading a special issue for the Journal of Business, Ethics and Society on “Reframing Organizational Purpose.”
