Dr Nisigandha Bhuyan is a full professor of Business Ethics at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. She has nearly two decades of teaching experience in the field of business ethics of which 12 years are at IIM Calcutta. She has worked extensively in specific areas such as the philosophical foundations of business ethics, Indian Philosophy, the stakeholder theory approach to business ethics, contractarian business ethics as well as ethics of technology. She is currently the editor of Journal of Human Values, Management Canter for Human Values (MCHV), IIM Calcutta, published by Sage. Dr Bhuyan is the convener of MCHV. She holds PhD from Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur (IIT-K). She has conducted her post-doctoral research work at the ISB Hyderabad-Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania.
