Ogechi Obiorah is a legal and governance expert. She is a PhD scholar at the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She has built a career in corporate governance, public policy, and stakeholder management. Her expertise in compliance, strategic planning, management and partnerships has driven impactful contributions to institutions such as NESG, UNIDO, and Lagos Business School. Passionate about
ethical leadership and corporate sustainability, she is dedicated to forging partnerships and shaping policies that foster economic growth and organisational resilience through research and advocacy.
Ogechi’s expertise extends to strategic planning, contract negotiations and ethical leadership. She is adept at leading policy reforms, economic advocacy, and partnerships across the public and private sectors. With a keen interest in artificial intelligence and ethical business practices, she complements her ability to shape corporate strategies that align legal compliance with economic and social impact.
Ogechi has earned certifications from The Wharton School (Management Development Program), the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators (Associate), Lagos Business School and the Policy Innovation Centre, amongst others. Ogechi currently serves as Head, Corporate Affairs & Stakeholder Management at the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG), where she leads corporate, legal, governance, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement.
