Susanna Chui

Dr CHUI Lai Man, Susanna (徐麗雯博士)  
Lecturer in Entrepreneurship PhD (Durham), MRES (Exeter), MA (Leicester), BA(Hons) (York)

Currently, Susanna teaches and conducts research areas related to sustainability, entrepreneurship and leadership at Leicester Castle Business School of De Montfort University in the UK.   She headed up the Membership Department at Catalyst 2030, which is a network that facilitates the pursuit of Sustainability Development Goals through collaboration amongst global social entrepreneurs, for her sabbatical leave in 2022 for six months.    She was an Assistant Professor at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong’s School of Business. She was the MSC-EM Associate Programme Director.    Her research interests include entrepreneurship, leadership and identity, social entrepreneurship, and social impact measurement. While pursuing her academic research, her research experience also extends to examining social impact measurement, CSR, stakeholder management and human resources issues in organizational contexts. She has recently completed two social impact research projects for two non-profit organisations: Dialogue in the Dark Foundation and Teach Unlimited in Hong Kong.    Susanna is also passionate about community services.  Appointed by the Chief Secretary of the HKSAR Government, Susanna was part of the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Fund Task Force under the Commission of Poverty from 2012-2018.  Moreover, she has been active in promoting social innovation and social entrepreneurship in Hong Kong as a founding member of the Fullness Social Enterprise Society.  She’s now the advisor and coach of two social enterprises in Hong Kong.  She also sits on the Board of a new social movement called Chief Happiness Officer conducting Workplace Happiness Index research.       

She has recently completed two social impact research projects for two non-profit organisations: Dialogue in the Dark Foundation and Teach Unlimited in Hong Kong.
