Dr. Jessica Jaye Ranieses is an Associate Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences and Innovation at De La Salle University. She earned both her Doctor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration degrees from the same institution. Her dissertation, “Navigating The Work–Nonwork Interface: A Critical Realist Case Study on Female Employee Wellbeing,” was recognized as an Outstanding Dissertation.
She dedicates her research and advocacy work primarily to the promotion of well-being in the workplace, with particular attention to the experiences of women. She actively advances awareness of gender bias in organizational settings and emphasizes the importance of translating research into actionable initiatives that foster inclusive, supportive, and equitable work environments.
Beyond scholarship, she is dedicated to her teaching practice, integrating themes of well-being, gender equality, and ethics into her courses through case-based learning, simulations, and applied projects. She also shares some of these teaching innovations on her blog, She Who Teaches (shewhoteaches.blog), which serves as a platform to inspire more reflective and values-driven approaches to management education.
Dr. Ranieses also serves as the President of the Philippine Academy of Management, an association dedicated to advancing responsible and relevant management scholarship and practice in the country.
