Ace V. Simpson 

Ace V. Simpson is Visiting Professor of Management at Manhattan University and Director of the Center for Compassion Studies in New York. His research explores the intersection of positive organizational scholarship and critical management studies, with a focus on workplace compassion, humility, and psychological safety—while also addressing power dynamics, bullying, and toxic leadership through paradox and critical lenses.

Ace serves as a research advisor to the Center for Positive Organizations at the University of Michigan and the Center for Contemplative Science and Compassion-Based Ethics at Emory University. He has partnered with organizations such as the NHS to develop compassion-based leadership practices and interpersonal capabilities.

His work appears in leading journals including the Academy of Management ReviewAcademy of Management Learning & Education, and Journal of Management. He is the author of Leadership Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita (SAGE, 2020; Bloomsbury, 2024), and co-author of Organizational Compassion: A Relational Approach (Routledge, 2024), The Elgar Introduction to Organizational Paradox Theory (Edward Elgar, 2021), and Positive Organizational Behavior (Routledge, 2020).
