April 2023 Humanistic Management PhD Network Seminar

Monday, April 24, 2023 from 12pm – 1pm Eastern.

Dear members and friends of IHMA,

You are invited to our next Ph.D. Network Seminar, happening on Monday, April 24th, at noon (Eastern Time).

Our presenter will be Babak Ghaempanah, a PhD candidate at the School of Business and Economics, Vrije University Amsterdam.

His area of research is Organizational Behavior, with a focus on qualitative studies of self-narratives to study narrative identity construction and meaning-making processes. He is going to share his current research on the desired future of graduates during their school-to-work transition. This qualitative study draws on narrative identity theory and aims to address the questions: What are the key distinctions of desired future during the school-to-work transition? How are they related to personal lived experiences?

Please join us as we learn from Babak and support his work. All interested students and scholars are welcome!

By popular demand, here’s our March speaker, Archana Mishra’s thesis: ed: https://espace.library.uq.edu.au/view/UQ:5b13b2b
