February 2023 Humanistic Management PhD Network Seminar

February 2023 Humanistic Management PhD Network Seminar

Monday, February, 2023 from 12pm – 1pm Eastern.

Dear members and friends of IHMA,

You are invited to our next Ph.D. Network Seminar, happening on Monday, February 27th, noon (Eastern Time).

Our presenter will be George Ward, a Junior Research Fellow in Economics at the University of Oxford. His research focuses on subjective well-being, with a particular focus on the determinants and downstream effects of workplace well-being as well as on political behavior.

His talk will share findings from a recent online field experiment conducted on a large-scale jobs platform, which experimentally supplied information about workplace happiness to job seekers, in order to estimate the effects of this information on application behavior — and, ultimately, assess the extent to which people place a value on happiness at work.

If you are a member of the Ph.D. network or a postdoctoral student, please leave your information on our live web sheet by clicking on this link. You can also update your information if relevant.

Hosted by: Ayse Yemiscigil Jensen, David Wasieleski, and Michael Pirson.

All interested students and scholars are welcome!
