Dr. Jyoti Bachani is a Full professor at Saint Mary’s College of California. Her research interests are in the area of humanising organizing using the arts, specifically, poetry and improv. She teaches strategy, management of creativity and innovation, digital storytelling, all towards practice relevant co-creation of sustainable futures, using experiential pedagogy, simulations and case-studies.
In an earlier career she was a strategy consultant to Fortune 200 companies. She has authored several articles, case studies, six books, and served in editorial roles for Organizational Aesthetics, Journal of Management Inquiry and founding editor of Emerald Emerging Markets Case Collection. Amongst the many awards she has been a Fulbright Senior Research Scholar, Best Paper Award for Field Research based from the Academy of Management, Outstanding LaSallian Educator and Greater Good Award from her College.
