Topic: A Case Study in Running a Business with Dignity

Linda Pelletier runs her air conditioning company, Green Cooling Solutions, differently from her competitors. Everything they do is rooted in ethics, tied to great customer service. They pay their staff hourly wages so that the technicians can do what is right for the customer and not what will make them a big commission. They aren’t just concerned about the a/c. They look at the whole home versus just the a/c to help their clients live in more efficient homes, reduce energy usage for their customers all while ensuring the indoor air quality is clean and healthy. They hire and attract ethical people, are transparent in all their work practices and billing. Can you be successful running your business ethically? Yes, you can, and Green Cooling Solutions proves that.

Our Guest

Linda Pelletier, President-Green Cooling Solutions

Linda grew up in Binghamton, New York in a large Irish family. She attended SUNY Cortland University after High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. Linda started her sales and marketing career selling manifest systems in the Boston area.

She moved from Boston, MA to Sarasota, FL in 2002. Once her children were in school, she reentered the sales force. She worked for a major Air Conditioning contractor in the Sarasota/Bradenton area briefly. She did not like their procedures, policies and ethics. In 2011 she left that company and laid down the ground work to start a company that was ethical and always had her clients best interest at heart. Linda is the consummate people person and brings strong networking skills to Green Cooling Solutions. Beyond networking, Linda’s primary responsibilities at GCS include outside sales, billing, collections and general oversight of the office and staff.
